It’s a busy world we live in. There is so much we have to do. There are so many ‘shoulds’. Our to-do-lists are never-ending, and on top of that, we also have to look great, make a good impression, be successful, make money, be happy, …
What if we took some time to pause and be still? Allowing ourselves to do absolutely nothing. Allowing our bodies and minds to rest. It may not be easy at first, but we can learn how to be present in this moment and at ease with ourselves. I would be happy to guide you in this wondrous process.
In this sacred pause, we can reconnect to ourselves and rediscover our inner world. By being present to ourselves, we also become more present to others. After all, how can I be there for someone else if I am not there for myself? Every time I take time to stop and be still, I am also nourishing my connection to others.
In the words of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh:
“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence.”
Breathe! You are alive.
